Welcome to My Bytes of the Big Apple

I am an aspiring digital journalist and today begins my journey into blogging.  The idea to blog, though now not so original these days, came to me this week from a course I am taking in digital journalism.  In four short weeks, I've realized I have a passion for sharing information and I love this stuff!  

My goal with "Bytes" is to be a storyteller and dig into the characters of NYC.  Some postings will be stories of which I've shot and edited and some will be of other journalists' work that I find interesting.  

This is a work in progress and I hope you will enjoy watching and reading my postings as much as I enjoy producing them.
